Summary

EOMC provides occupational medical, general medical, laboratory, radiology and case management services. Our capabilities include pre-employment physicals, drug and alcohol screening, hearing conservation programs, vision testing, pulmonary function testing, qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing, electrocardiograph and exercise stress testing, vaccinations, and phlebotomy.  We have established programs in monitoring blood borne pathogens, hearing loss, hazardous materials, asbestosis, and animal allergens.  Additional services include OSHA training, ergonomic evaluations, return to work evaluations and telemedicine.

EOMC consults on medical and healthcare benefits issues, conducts medical claims review, and assists in health policy development. Services are provided by physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses and other licensed healthcare staff and may be delivered on-site, at one of our fixed locations, or in our mobile units that can rapidly be located anywhere in the country.

EOMC uses electronic medical records, reducing medical errors and producing information that can rapidly be distributed to authorized parties.  EOMC practices high quality medicine that prevents needless absenteeism, presenteeism and disability. Our care is cost effective, saving employers money while supporting a healthy workforce.

Approach to Services

EOMC emphasizes preventing injuries through pre-placement physicals and functional capacity testing, medical surveillance, ergonomic evaluations and education. When injuries occur, EOMC and its affiliated providers in orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, physiatry, physical and occupational therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture, treat with a caring attitude and a strong emphasis on safe return-to-work.
